Arrive in Perth

On arrival at Perth airport you will be transferred by coach to your Perth accommodation. You are then free to spend the rest of day exploring Perth at your own pace. Overnight stay in Perth Hotel.

Perth - Morning Perth & Fremantle

After Breakfast at the hotel, the day begins at the beautiful Kings Park botanic gardens with time to experience a walk through the tree's canopies on the Tree Top Walkway giving a bird’s eye view of Perth's city skyline. Continue to one of Perth's best beaches Cottesloe Beach before arriving at the historic port town of Fremantle. Time is allowed for a walk down the main street, enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafes (own expense) or perhaps find a bargain at the markets (Fri, Sat & Sun only). Return to Perth by road travelling past Perth's most exclusive suburbs, the University of Western Australia, Royal Perth Yacht Club, the Old Swan Brewery, Barrack Street Jetty, the famous Bell Tower and finally the Perth Mint. Afternoon is free to explore further. Overnight stay in Perth Hotel.

Perth - Walking Tour

After Breakfast, On this tour explore the more than 2.5km of arcades and various lesser known laneways throughout the city. Due to Perth's warm climate, the city centre was built with many arcades to keep shoppers shaded and cool. Through churches, shopping malls and public areas, these arcades and laneways provide interesting routes for locals to navigate through the city centre. Art Deco, ultra-modern and even faux-Tudor, these are wonderful parts of the city that you will visit on  this tour and learn of their origins and impact on the city. 
In recent years, some forgotten and underutilised laneways in Perth have been given a new lease on life. Through Government investment, the establishment small bars and cafes, pop-up cultural events and a proliferation of street art, these once ignored places are now hip and happening. It is very easy to spend a couple of leisurely hours exploring these hidden yet bustling/vibrant elements of life in Perth. Must Know Before You Visit Perth

1. Due to being located on the western end of Australia, far removed from the more popular eastern end, flights can be expensive when travelling to Perth. It is recommended to book flights well in advance and look out for deals.

2. The public transport system is affordable and is great for getting around the city. Visitors are advised to get the SmartRider card for AUD 10 which greatly reduces travel costs in the city.

3. Uber fares are generally cheaper than the local taxis which are quite expensive.

4. Accomodation options are not cheap in Perth. Most hostels typically start from around AUD 25 for small dorms and above AUD 70 for private rooms. Budget hotel rooms generally start from AUD 100. It is advisable to look out for deals or book well in advance to book the cheaper rooms when readily available.

Kings Park is a massive city garden dotted with war memorials, overlooking the Swan River. Covering an area of about 990 acres, Kings Park in Perth is among the largest inner city parks in the world. Apart from the large variety of native Australian flora and many birds that call it home, it also houses the State War Memorial and other important sights in Perth, making it Western Australia’s most visited tourist destination.
