Day 1 

AIRPORT – PINNNAWALA – KANDY

Arrive in Sri Lanka. You will be met by our representatives and transferred to Kandy(Travel time approx: 03 & ½ hrs) 
  
En route visit *Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage - App. 55 miles from Colombo, off the Colombo - Kandy road is Pinnawela, where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The number of elephants has increased to more than 65 now; including Baby Elephants brought from various parts, as well as the 23 babies born, as a result of the captive breeding programme. The best time to visit is the feeding time from 0930-1000 hrs and 1330-1400 hrs and the bathing time from 1000-1030 hrs and 1400-1430 hrs when all the elephants are taken to the river close by.

Cancellation Policies

  • 25% of Holiday Package Cost will be applicable, Cancelled 51 Days or More
  • 50% of Holiday Package Cost will be applicable, Cancelled between 50 – 36 Days
  • 75% of Holiday Package Cost will be applicable, Cancelled between 35 – 21 Days
  • 100% of Holiday Package Cost will be applicable, Cancelled 20 Days or less.

Important Notes

  • Hotel normal check in time is 1400 - 1600 hours and check out time is 1000 - 1200 hours
  • Package cost is subject to change until full confirmation for package tour.
  • Rooms are subject to availability.
  • Room type (double or twin is Subject to Availability and is at sole discretion of the hotel)
  • Itinerary is just indicative. Do not consider it as a Final Schedule. Date & Time of Tours can be changed by Local Agent / Tour Operator.
