Day 2 : Johor Bahru - Legoland Theme Park

Day 3 : Johor Bahru - Kuala Lumpur

Day 4 : Kuala Lumpur - City Tour

Visit the various wonderful sights on the Half Day City Tour of Kuala Lumpur. The tour brings you to the confluence of two rivers (Gombak & Klang River) where the name of Kuala Lumpur originated from, then to the King's Palace, the National Monument, drive pass Lake Gardens, photostop at National Mosque, the Moorish Styled Railway Station, then proceed to the Independence Square and Sultan Abdul Samad Building, nickname as the Clock Tower of Kuala Lumpur, which used to be Malaysia High Court bases. You should notice that abundant greenery in the city, particularly at the Lake Gardens. A photo stop at the magnificent Petronas Twin Towers will also is included. Overnight stay in Kuala Lumpur.


Day 5 : Departure Kuala Lumpur

Overview :
Johor Bahru (JB for short) is the capital of the Johor State in Southern Malaysia. This rapidly growing city is one of the largest and most diverse cities in Malaysia. The city boasts of being the keeper to many natural and national treasures untold. An important fact about Johor Bahru is that it is home to the famous royal village, Pasir Pelangi. The city was founded by, Temenggong Daing Ibrahim, in the year 1855. It was a village then and was called, Tanjung Puteri. In 1858, it was renamed as Iskandar Puteri. The village grew into a town, at a rapid speed, under the able rule of Abu Bakar, Ibrahims son. Officially, on January 1st, 2004, the town was recognised as a city. Today, it is Malaysias second-biggest urban area. Another important fact about Johor Bahru is that it has earned the status of being the countrys southern gateway, since the time it has been connected with Singapore through a 1056 m long causeway. The city is influenced by a number of cultures of that of the local Malays, Chinese and Indians. The rich cultural heritage of the city is clearly reflected by the traditional attire of the local people. Besides its history and culture, Johor Bahru is known for its royal palaces and splendid night markets.

By Air
Senai International Airport is the airport of Johor Bahru. It is located northwest of the city; a 30 minute taxi ride takes you from the airport to Johor Bahru city center. Many airlines fly to Johor Bahru, of course national carrier Malaysia Airlines is one of them. Low cost carrier AirAsia has one of its main hubs at Senai.

By Bus
The cheapest way to reach Johor Bahru is by coach. There are numerous coach operators that have daily busses driving between Johor Bahru and many places within Peninsular Malaysia. From the main bus terminal Puduraya in Kuala Lumpur there are hourly busses heading to Johor Bahru.

By Train
Though the train is not the cheapest nor the fastest solution to get from Kuala Lumpur Sentral train station to Johor Bahru, many tourists take the train because of the great scenic views and the atmosphere on board. Taking the train is probably the nicest way to travel to Johor Bahru though the views from the train aren't that amazing compared to a few other popular train routes. Malaysia has two major train tracks, the northern line and the eastern line. Both end up in Johor Bahru.

By Boat
Boats from Indonesia (from the islands of Bintan and Batam) arrive at the Johor Bahru ZON Ferry Terminal. Tourists can take boats from numerous Indonesian places (Sumatra) to both Bintan and Batam.

Best Time To Visit:
June to August : This is the peak season to visit Johor Bahru. This time period is best suited, as there is very little humidity and very little rainfall.

Winter (November to April): Winter comes with a huge amount of rainfall. Specially in the months of November to January. If you are keen to travel in this off-season of Johor Bahru, restrict yourself to complete your sightseeing tour and shopping tour only in the morning hours.

Summer (May to October): The climate in this season is quite pleasant as compared to winter. Humidity in this season is comparatively less as compare to winter, specially in the months of June to August. Hence, June to August is considered as the best time to visit Johor Bahru. However, you are likely to face a huge crowd as most of the schools are expected to close. Hence, tourists do come for a family vacation in this city.
